  On the video Breath, the artist utilises another method for audiences to think about the without sounds of the video. The artist is a congenital heart disease patient. He regularly touches his left chest and check does his heart work when he has any painful situation. Moreover, during his developing process, he has faced many ridicules and ostracising behaviours that would enhance the tense psychological pressures. The video not only shows an artist’s disappointing experience but also bring his feelings in. 

  The artist’s poor experience has influenced many decisions, feelings, thinkings, and minds. it will discuss the experience.

  His mother brought him to see the dentist, whereas this experience causes me to be scared, indignant, nervous, and disappointed. Due to he scared the sound of the grinding the teeth when he was around four years the dentist forcefully drag me to the toilet, and then closed the toilet’s door and turn off the light. 

  When the toilet’s light was turned off, the artist was only able to look help from the door’s vent. The weak outside light slightly put into the toilet through the vent. He loudly scream that he hoped someone could help him or his mother can hear. However, it is useless to help. The vent would be a kind of the jails’ walls or windows. 

  The essential function of the toilet doors of the vents is that emit the bathing steam. However, the artist not only shows the different air outlet direction but also change the vent function, which will emit light. For a long time, Taiwan has been bullied by China, and someone has doubted on democracy and freedom what does it can be for Taiwanese. The democracy and freedom would be the light, water, air which are ordinary objects for every people. Light represents the artist’s desires for freedom.
